Itinerary for the week of 9/7-9/14

Please note, this itinerary is for our family and wedding party choosing to stay at the Villa for the entirety of the week and is completely optional. Breakfast will be provided and brought to each guest’s personal borgo, or apartment, every morning at 8:00 am. Guests will also be able to grocery shop or request certain food items be in their personal borgos upon arrival. Additionally, each activity listed for the day’s events is completely optional, however, it will be the only activity covered during your stay. Any other trips or activities you wish to schedule will be at the guest’s own expense.

Saturday, September 7

Arrive
Rome, Italy

Fiumicino Airport

  • Guests arrive into Rome (2.5 hours from property) & take a train to the local town of Castiglion Fiorentino

  • Guests will be met with a private transfer (approxomately 4 vans) from Castiglion Fiorentino train station to Borgo villa property

  • 3:00pm – Check in to villas

  • 6:30pm – Welcome drink and buffet dinner at the Borgo

Sunday, Septemeber 8

Bucciletti Casali Property

  • 8:00am – Breakfast delivered to individual villas

  • 10:00am – Hiking tour of Valley di Chio

  • 7:00pm – Pizza party

Monday, Septemeber 9

Bucciletti Casali Property

  • 8:00am – Breakfast delivered to individual villas

  • 10:30am – Wine tasting, tour & charcuterie board

  • 4:00pm – Group cooking course

  • 8:00am – Breakfast delivered to individual villas

  • 9:00am – Transfer from Borgo Gaggioleto to Castiglion Fiorentino train station, train to Florence

  • 10:30am – Florence street food tour and explore Florence

  • Dinner in Florence and take train from Florence back to Castiglion Fiorentino

  • 8:00pm – Return transfer from Castiglion Fiorentino to Borgo Gaggioleto

  • 8:00am – Breakfast delivered to individual villas

  • 10:00am – Yoga with the bride

  • Roundtrip transfer from Borgo to Castiglion Fiorentino to explore the town. Includes a 1.5 hour guided tour of the town

  • 5:00 pm wedding rehearsal for the wedding party

  • 6:30pm – Charcuterie & gelato cart

  • Bride / groom brunch

  • Wedding & Reception

  • 8:30am – Transfer from Borgo Gaggioleto to Siena

  • 10:00am – Guided wine & food tour in Siena

  • 1:15pm – Tour ends

  • 3:30pm – Return transfer from Siena to Borgo Gaggioleto

  • Dinner in town or requested at Borgo

  • 8:00am – Breakfast delivered to individual villas

  • Check out by 10:00am - Private transfer from villas to Castiglion Fiorentino train station
